The University of Houston System is soliciting proposals from the shortlisted respondents to the Request for Qualifications No. RFQCMAR-730-UofH-3036 issued by Owner on 5/29/2025 for the construction of the CMAR University of Houston Student Center North Expansion located on the University of Houston campus. This RFP is the second step of a two-step process, the first step being the RFQ. Project Description. This multi-story expansion will be approximately 35,000 GSF and will consolidate student services programs, including all of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in one central location. Student mental health is a top priority for the University and the Student Center North expansion will be designed and constructed to improve the student access to CAPS and other student programs, such as Career Services, that are dedicated to student success, learning and involvement.
