Instructions to Download Request for Proposal Specifications and basic description ofwork: Abrasive sweep blast walls and floors of both pools; Patch walls, imperfections, cove and floor. Patch, paint and caulk per specifications below. Main Pool (zero depth/lap pool) and Riverside Pool Abrasive sweep blast (light sandblast) all walls along with any floors that do not have an anti-slip finish. This will provide the necessary surface for recoating with epoxy paint. o Adler - Protect lane line tiles from being damaged during the blasting operation. Protect and cover all floor drains, gutter drains, escutcheons, bubblers, lights, and stainless steel during blasting/cleaning operations at both pools. o The spent abrasive will be swept up and placed in a dumpster for disposal off-site. o Apply a TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) solution to all surfaces and pressure wash rinse. o Patch holes and/or rock pops in the floor/walls of both pools with Tnemec 215. o Adler - Roller apply two coats ofTnemec N69F in the two color scheme. Zero depth area blue and lap pool white. o Riverside - Roller apply two coats ofTnemec N69F in a two color scheme. Shallow end to transition line is blue floor and blue walls. Transition line to deep end is white floor and white walls. o Adler - Tape off and paint a 6" wide transition line at a 46" depth in a contrasting color with two coats. o Riverside - Tape off and paint a 4" wide transition line at a 5' depth in a contrasting color with two coats. o Adler - Tape off and paint 12 wall targets (crosses) in a contrasting color with two coats. o Riverside - Stairs painted with contrasting color stripes 2" across treads and 2" on top edge ofrisers with two coats. o Riverside -Tape off all stainless steel bull nose under coping and paint horizontal gutter surfaces white or blue based on location in pool. o Adler - Remove caulk and backer rod from expansion joints and install new (43 linear feet). o Adler - Remove and install new caulk under the stainless steel gutter (322 linear feet). o Riverside - Remove hydrostatic valves, add extension pipes and sump pump to keep pool dry during operation Adler Pool Dimensions / Square Footage / Color scheme Project Goal: Sandblast, patch and paint both pools and caulk Adler pool Specifications and basic description ofwork: Abrasive sweep blast walls and floors of both pools; Patch walls, imperfections, cove and floor. Main Pool (zero depth/lap pool) and Riverside Pool: o Blue Floor area = 4,075 square feet; Blue Wall area = 86 square feet; Blue Total = 4,161 square feet: Tnemec Color P004 Clear Sky-Pool White Floor area = 4,887 square feet; White Wall area = 1,330 square feet; White Total = 6,217 square feet: Tnemec Color P001 Tnemec White-Pool o Transition line lineal feet = 40 feet at 6" wide: Tnemec Color P045 Safety Red o Expansion Joint Caulk line lineal feet = 43 feet at 1.5" wide o Gutter sealant lineal feet = 322 feet o 12 Lane Targets are 5 square feet each = 60 square feet: Tnemec Color P021 True Blue/Safety-Pool o Contractor to field verify dimensions Riverside Pool Dimensions / Square Footage / Color Scheme Blue Floor and Wall area = 1,300 square feet: Tnemec Color P004 Clear Sky-Pool o White Floor and Wall area = 2,000 square feet: Tnemec Color P001 Tnemec White-Pool o Transition line lineal feet = 40 feet at 4" wide: Tnemec Color P045 Safety Red o Stair Treads: 24 lineal feet at 4" wide on 4 steps: Tnemec Color P045 Safety Red o Contractor to field verify dimensions. References: Contractor must provide 3 Municipal and or commercial references with similar scope from the last 7 years. All potential bidders are required to complete the Plan Holder's form before accessing the Request for Proposal. The information provided on the Plan Holder's Form will be used to contact plan holders if an addendum is issued. When you have completed the Plan Holder's Form, you will be redirected to the webpage with the Request for Proposal. Preparation of Proposals: All proposals for the Work shall be made only on the blank price proposal form attached to this Request for Bids and shall be complete with a price for each and every phase of work as well as a total lump sum price. All proposals must be signed by an authorized official. Proposals that contain omissions, erasures, alterations, or additions not called for, conditional or alternate bids unless called for, or that contain irregularities of any kind may be rejected. Please review all document materials before determining price proposal. Withdrawal of Proposals: No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of any proposal. Acceptance of Proposals: Proposals submitted are offers only and the decision to accept or reject is a function of quality, reliability, capability, reputation, and expertise of the bidders. Rejection of Bids: Proposals that are not submitted on the proposal price form or that are not prepared in accordance with these Instructions to Bidders may be rejected. If not rejected, Owner may demand correction of any deficiency and accept the deficiently prepared proposal upon compliance with these Instructions to Bidders. Upon acceptance of the successful Bidder's proposal by Owner, the successful Bidder's proposal, together with Owner's notification of acceptance in the form attached to this Request for Proposals, shall become the contract for the Work. Event Bid Description: Delivery of Proposals: Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the title of the contract and the bidder's full legal name and shall be addressed and delivered to the place and before the time set forth above. Proposals may be delivered by mail or in person. Proposals received after the time specified above will be returned unopened. Clarifications: Owner reserves the right to make clarifications, corrections, or changes in this Request for Contract at any time prior to the time proposals are opened. All bidders or prospective bidders will be informed of said clarifications, corrections, or changes. Owner reserves the right to accept the proposal that is, in its judgment, the best and most favourable to the interests of Owner and to the public; to reject the low price proposal; to accept any item of any proposal; to reject any and all proposals; and to waive irregularities and informalities in any proposal submitted or in the request for proposal process; provided, however, the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defect or informality. Bidders should not rely upon, or anticipate, such waivers in submitting their proposal.
