Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Upgrades, repairs and major renovations of the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels. The project involves the complete rehabilitation of the infrastructure to ensure its longevity for 40 years and includes: - 9 circulation tubes; - 10 overpasses; - 29 retaining walls; - 9 ventilation towers and - 10 km of roadway. The work will involve both structures and operating equipment (ventilation, electricity, drainage, safety). Note. The total value of the construction program, including some work currently underway, amounts to approximately $2,051 billion. TIMELINE: The owner is currently requesting expression of interest with the aim to assess market attractiveness before initiating this complex project using a collaborative approach. This will allow the government, designers, and builders to work together to reduce impacts on mobility and optimize the schedule. Reference number: 20087449.
