Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Scope of Work District 6 Cumberland Office and Fuel Canopy has a roof consisting of Roof Area A for a single ply membrane with polyisocyanurate insulation over a precast concrete deck and Roof Area B for a single ply membrane over a precast concrete deck. These roof areas were observed to be in fair condition though with numerous deficiencies that were likely resulting in moisture intrusion. Roof is recommended for replacement as it approaches its 20 year expected lifecycle. Scope of work to include demolition and reconstruction of Roof Area A and Roof Area B as well as associated hazardous materials testing.
