The Work will consist of the following (quantities are approximate): Description Quantity Mobilization & Bonds Lump Sum Furnish & Install Traffic Control Lump Sum Mill Bituminous Pavement 1"-3" Depth 5397 SY Furnish & Install Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, 9.5 MM PG 64S-22 WMA Leveling Course, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, 1-1/2" Depth 486 Tons Furnish & Install Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, 9.5 MM PG 64S-22 WMA Wearing Course, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, SRL E 1-1/2" Depth 486 Tons Mill or Excavate Soft Areas & Replace with Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, 25 MM PG 64S-22 WMA Base Course, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, 4" Depth 270 SY Furnish & Install TACK Bituminous Tack Coat 10,794 SY Furnish & Install 6" Thick Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk 978 SF Furnish & Install 20" Deep Concrete Curb 258 LF Sawcutting of Driveways 100 LF All bids must be received in a separate and sealed envelope or folder for this contract and clearly labeled 2025 Borough of Manor Street Reconstruction Project. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Contract Documents can be shipped or delivered at an extra cost of $25.00. No partial sets of Contract Documents, Specifications or Drawings will be issued. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Borough of Manor, a bid bond, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid for this contract, in accordance with the provisions of the contract documents. Upon award, the successful contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond for the full amount of the contract. Upon completion of the project, the contractor will be required to submit a 24-month Maintenance Bond for the contract. Anticipated beginning construction date is October 6, 2025. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for a valid reason; and/or to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time, specified materials or changes in the work. The Borough also has the right to reject all nonconforming, non-responsive, contradictory, or conditional bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids. If a contractor who did not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting submits a bid, the contractor's bid will be rejected and will not be opened.
