Renovation of a laboratory facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
This project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete the replacement of greenhouse controls for the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Ames, Iowa. All work must be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions, drawings, statement of work (SOW), and other attachments included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The estimated magnitude of the project, per FAR 36.204, is between $100,000 and $250,000. Completion is required within 75 days after the notice to proceed, which will be issued following receipt of bonds due within 10 days after award. The applicable wage determination is Dept. of Labor General Decision #IA20250074 dated 08/08/2025. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside.
