Work of this Contract comprises the following: Renovation of Suite 102, One Executive Place, located at 1816 Crowchild Trail NW, Calgary, Alberta; as indicated on Drawings and Specifications. The objective of this project is to accommodate the SCSS, Income Services Investigations and Offices of Advocate for Persons with Development Disabilities (OAPD) client facing programs within One Executive Place Building (OEP). Also, to provide a secured space for investigation and a modernized accessible suite for the advocate, thereby increasing the density of the current leased suite at OEP and vacate the JJ Bowlen Building to support its future modernization. The scope of this project includes but not limited to: .1 Construction of new space as per approved program documents (including sound masking and specialty hardware) .2 Doors and hardware to meet SCSS security and barrier free requirements including card access, accessibility and duress system. .3 Network and telecom installations (SuperNet, Wifi, fax if required) .4 Installation of client supplied AV Equipment and appliances. .5 Installation of plumbing and electrical tie-ins for appliances. .6 Coordination of furniture installation, (power, data, phone) .7 Provide wayfinding and interior signage throughout new space. Wayfinding to include brail and be installed lower than typical as per SCSS communications branding requirements. .8 Interior fit-up to follow SCSS standards as outlined in program document for reception, meeting rooms, interview rooms, etc. .9 Fit-up and installation to meet (and exceed where possible) todays barrier free and accessible fixtures to ensure the suite is maneuverable for all able-bodied people.
