Renovation of a water / sewer project in Grant, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work Consists of Interior and Exterior Rehabilitation To One (1) Elevated Steel Leg Water Storage Tank Known as the Lewis Mountain Tank. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Proof of Insurance, and a Complete List of Subcontractors and Suppliers Will Be Required Prior to the Signing Of the Contract. A Performance Bond in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Costs and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Cost in The Form and Terms Approved by North Marshall Utilities Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. In Addition, the Contractor Must Furnish to North Marshall Utilities at the Time of the Signing Of the Contract a Certificate of Insurance Coverage as Provided in The Specifications. No Bids Will Be Considered Unless the Bidder, Whether Resident Or Non-resident of Alabama, is Properly Qualified to Submit a Bid For This Construction in Accordance With All Applicable Laws of The State of Alabama. North Marshall Utilities Has Received Arpa Funds From the Marshall County Commission and Assistance From the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (Dwsrf) American Rescue Plan Act (Arpa) Through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (Adem) and Seeks to Make Improvements to the Water System. Compliance With All Applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws, Rules, and Regulations Are Required. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Proof of Insurance, and a Complete List of Subcontractors and Suppliers Will Be Required Prior to the Signing Of the Contract. A Performance Bond in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Costs and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Cost in The Form and Terms Approved by North Marshall Utilities Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. This Shall Include Evidence of Holding a Current License From the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, As Required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama, 1975. In Addition, Non-residents Of the State, if a Corporation, Shall Show Evidence of Having Qualified With the Secretary of State to Do Business in the State Of Alabama. Bids Shall Be Clearly Identified on The Exterior of the Package With The Bidder's Name, Current License Number, Address, the Name of the Project Being Bid, And Time and Place of the Bid Opening. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids for a Period of Sixty (60) Days.
