SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this project is to replace existing 2" water lines in Clearview Oklahoma, plus water meters. BASE BID: Replace water lines "A","B","D","L","M" ADD ALTERNATE 1: Replace water line "C" ADD ALTERNATE 2: Replace water line "E", "H" ADD ALTERNATE 3: Replace water lines "F", "G" ADD ALTERNATE 4: Replace water lines "J", "K" . A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder at the time of bid, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days from and after the date the award is made. The successful contractor shall provide statutory, performance and maintenance bonds each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. Inclusion of these bonds with the bid is not necessary to constitute a "responsive bid." Supplier shall provide name and address of bonding company in the BID PROPOSAL. All work shall be completed within 120 Calendar Days for Base Bid, plus 60 Calendar Days for Add Alternate 1. 30 Calendar Days for Add Alternate 2, 30 Calendar Days for Add Alternate 3, and 60 Calendar Days for Add Alternate 4, after starting work. Liquidated damages at the rate of $200 per day shall be assessed for every day after the scheduled completion date until all work is completed. As such, compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is mandatory. Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act is mandatory if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000 (ten million dollars). Each bidder shall accompany his bid with a sworn statement in writing that the bidder has not directly or indirectly entered into an agreement, expressed or implied, with any other bidder concerning the price or amount of such quote or any quotes, the limiting of the quotes or bidders, the paying to anyone any money for promotion expenses, the parcelling out to any bidder or bidders or other persons of any part of the contract or any part of the subject matter of the bid or of the profits thereof. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder based on the TOTAL BASE BID. The Owner reserves the right to correct any non-material clerical errors in the bidding as allowed under Oklahoma Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional quotes shall not be accepted. All questions must be answered, and the data given must be clear and comprehensive. This statement must be notarized.
