The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete three housing renovations for workforce housing in BRPC's six county region, preferred location would be within 20 miles of BRPC's office in accordance with the project specifications. Selected contractors will be responsible for property identification, acquisition (subject to BRPC approval), and renovation of a minimum of three (3) homes. Completed homes will be marketed and sold at purchase standards consistent with a sale price of $130,000 to $150,000. BRPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the project. Identify at least three (3) eligible properties in a state of disrepair or blight within 20 miles of BRPC's office (105 East North Main Street, Dexter, MO). Final selection will require BRPC review and approval. o Renovate properties to meet livability, safety, and building code standards. Rehabilitation of existing structures is preferred; however, proposals may include reasonable expansions (e.g., additional bathrooms or square footage) were costeffective. o Provide all labor, materials, permits, and equipment necessary to complete renovations.
