Crosswalk Community Action Agency will be accepting proposals from contractors interested in participating in the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program during the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. For the Ten counties of Franklin,Jefferson, Williamson, Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne & White. A pool of contractors are needed in each of these area's (Architectural, HVAC, Plumbing and Appliances) and jobs will be given out according to performance and quality of work, along with how fast invoices are returned to Crosswalk. Proposals will be evaluated, scored and the contracts will be awarded to the contractors whose proposals are most advantageous for the Crosswalk Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program. Examples of labor procedures are installation of weather-stripping, caulking, insulation, windows and door air sealing, furnace retrofit, repair/replacement,water heater replacements, refrigerator, freezer & stove replacements, and minor structural repairs.
