Sewer Improvements Project Description: 12,600 linear feet of 6" sewer line replacement including appurtenances. This project includes professional design, bidding, construction administration, and construction review services for sewer improvements. Sewer improvements include replacement of sections of the gravity collection system and improvements at the wastewater treatment plant. The project shall be fully complete within 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded. The bid includes 5 bid packages, and the City's awarded project may be any combination of bid packages therein. All awarded bid packages, will be awarded as a single contract to a single bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Grand Saline reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
