Site work for a water / sewer project in Snow Hill, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the liner at the Assateague Point WWTP Lagoon. Current liner is at the end of its useful life with increasing repair costs every year. Scope is based off of the need for an in-kind replacement of the liner at the lagoon. Extending the life of this lagoon will allow for continued operations of a critical WWTP in the County's network. A replacement liner will lessen the risk of breaks and tears which cost money to repair and open the potential for fines from MDE. The project is included in the County 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 24,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
