The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary to fabricate, deliver, and install new monument signage at multiple City park locations. The work will be performed in accordance with attached construction documents prepared by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. This project is intended to enhance the City's parks with attractive, durable, and consistent signage that reflects the City's branding and improves visibility for residents and visitors. Work will be performed at multiple locations, requiring careful scheduling and coordination to minimize disruption to public access and park operations. All signage will meet the City's quality standards, aesthetic guidelines, and durability requirements for long-term public use. The project includes the following general elements: Fabrication and installation of monument signs at designated park sites. Site preparation, excavation, grading, and drainage adjustments as required. Utility coordination and protection. Installation of specified finishes, lettering, lighting, and decorative elements. Restoration of disturbed areas to preconstruction condition or better. All work will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations; Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (latest edition); Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; and all warranty and performance requirements specified in the contract documents. Each bid must be submitted through the eProcurement Portal and must be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank or trust company in accordance with Section 255.051, Florida Statutes, made payable to the City of Zephyrhills, Florida in an amount not less than 5% (percent) of the total bid or a bid bond of like amount, on a form set forth in the contract documents, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute and fill in the proposed contract and furnish a Payment and Performance Bond at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the contract. Please note, the bid bond amount needs to be spelled out and in numeric amounts. It is not allowed to put in 5% on the bid bond form. Bid Bond: A bid bond shall accompany each bid response. The bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price and shall be made payable to the City as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid closing time. The Bid Bond is to be included in their response (electronically). Failure on the part of the successful bidder to execute the Agreement as required will be just cause for the annulment of the award, and in the event of the annulment of the award, the Bidder shall forfeit his bid bond. This forfeiture shall not be construed as a penalty, but as reasonable, fixed and liquidated damages because of the Bidder's failure to enter into Agreement with the City.
