Washington Community Center Remodel ALTERNATES: If alternate bids are called for, identify these in the Best Value Proposal, and these will be reviewed as part of the Budget Validation and Target Value Design. AWARD: Project will be awarded using the Best Value Method (see exhibit attached Request for Proposals). PROJECT DURATION: The project is considered to take 120 calendar days. Bidder should provide their schedule assumptions which will be scored as part of the Schedule Management. ESTIMATED PROJECT VALUE: The project is estimated at Seven Hundred and Twenty-Five Dollars ($725,000) which includes the covered walkway (Add Alternate 1). All surety bonds must be provided by sureties as specifically listed on Federal Circular 570. No exceptions will be permitted. A 100% Payment Bond will be required prior within Ten 10 calendar days of award. These bonds shall be in the form called for in the Contract Documents. A 100% Performance Bond will be required within Ten 10 calendar days of award. These bonds shall be in the form called for in the Contract Documents. Payment and Performance Bonds issued on forms other than the Bid Bond form contained within the contract documents will be grounds for disqualification. PAYMENT RETENTION: Owner will retain 5% of the amount of any progress payments as retention. REJECTION OF BIDS Washington CC will have the right to reject any or all bids. Washington CC will have the right to reject any Bid not completed as required by the Bidding Documents, or a Bid which is in any other way incomplete or irregular.
