Reference Number 0000301207 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/02 02:00:00 PM PDT The Corporation is requesting Proposals for the support of our Danger and Hazard Tree Removal along transmission lines L170 and L178 The successful Proponent will be responsible for: Felling and removing each identified tree Disposal of all wood and debris (unless otherwise specified by YEC) Cut useable wood into firewood and stack on the side of the ROW Clean up tactics shall only be used from YEC Brushing Specifications - C/T:6 Providing all equipment required for the Work. Ensuring work complies with applicable safety and environmental regulations Coordinating with YEC Brushing Coordinator on timing, access, and any site-specific concerns Protecting nearby infrastructure and vegetation during removal Documenting work performed and providing all required documentation in a timely manner Following all aspects of the YEC Brushing Specifications that are applicable to Hazard and Danger Tree removal. Respecting the land and people in the area. The public can access many transmission line right-of-ways. Many right-of-ways pass right next to private property. Only designated access roads are to be used. No trespassing on Private Property. No brushing outside the scope of this Danger and Hazard tree removal scope without written permission. Tree Types: Danger Trees: (defined as trees with structural defects, severe lean, or immediate fall risk). Danger trees are marked with blue flagging. Appendix 4a- L170 and Appendix 4b - L178 Hazard Trees: (defined as dead/dying trees, trees with broken tops or limbs, or trees with moderate risk of failure). Hazard trees are marked with orange flagging.
