SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the Middlesex County Magnet Schools Board of Education for the Air Handling Unit 8 at MCMS located in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey. The Work consists of: Replace Air Handler 8 and associated Boiler and Energy Recovery Unit serving the center classrooms at the Piscataway Magnet School. Portions of the existing chilled water piping, hydronic piping, ductwork, gas piping, and associated floor drains, louvers, condensate piping, etc will be replaced to accommodate the new unit. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architect's Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday. Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to the Architect's office no later than September 11, 2025 by 12:00pm. The Owner and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C032 HVACR Each bidder must deposit with their Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders".
