Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Colchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Generally, the work includes construction of a new post frame storage building and associated work. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be conducted for this project. Construction for the project is scheduled to commence promptly upon Board of Education approval and be substantially complete by December 12, 2025. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, made payable to the Board of Education, West Prairie CUSD 103. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond will be rejected. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U. S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Contractor shall pay the premiums for these bonds. The Board of Education, West Prairie CUSD 103 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids. Rejection of a bidder by the Owner may be based on the contractor's qualifications and/or previous experience with performing work for the Owner.
