Reference Number 0000396621 Bid Intent Not Available Delivery Point: 1525 N. 9th St. Canon City Co 81212 This project consists of installing a new 8' by 15' vault near Washington St on 9th St. The contractor will run a new 4" service line from the end of the existing 12" in 9th st to the vault, install the meter, double check backflow, and run the service back to the existing 4" to reconnect. On 9th by the 600 Raintree entrance the contractor will demo out the existing meter and backflow vault on the east side of 9th. Install a fire hydrant around the same location. On the west side of 9th the contractor will run a new 6" service line for 600 Raintree from 9th st to the existing valve outside of their meter vault. Scheudle A - Scope of Work Project Name: Orchard Park Meter Vault Relocation Location: 2855 N. 9th Street 1. Install new 6 FT x 15 FT concrete vault 2. Remove existing 2" blow-off from 12" PVC water main. 3. Remove and replace existing 12" BFV. 4. Install 12 x 4 MJ reducer w/ 18" pup. 5. Install 4" 45 MJ fitting and estimated 35' of 4" DR-18 PVC to the northeast restraints and thrust block required. 6. Install 4" 45 MJ fitting with estimated 8' DI spool piece (flange x PE) into meter vault. See detail W-5c 7. Install 4" Mach 10 Neptune meter and double check assembly. 8. Install estimated 8' DI spool (flange x PE) out of meter vault. 9. Install 4" 45 MJ fitting and transition back to PVC estimated 35'. 10. Install temporary blow-off for disinfection flushing and Bac-T sample. 11. Reconnect to 4" Orchard Park line with 45 MJ fittings. 12. Cap existing Orchard Park line to the West of new tie in. 13. Backfill and grade site to match surrounding grades Scheudle A - Scope of Work Project Name: Orchard Park Meter Vault Abandonment, Hydrant Relocation & New 6" Service Line for 600 Raintree Location: N 9th Street & Raintree 1. Remove existing Orchard Park meter and backflow vault 2. Salvage meter and back-flow assembly, and provide to City 3. Install 12 x 6" tapping sleeve to East, 6" AVK gate valve (sleeve and valve provided by CCWD) CCWD will hot tap. 4. Install approximately 25' of 6" DR-18 PVC and fire hydrant assembly. (hydrant provided by CCWD). 5. Install 12 x 6" tap sleeve and valve (sleeve and valve provided by CCWD) to West for 600 Raintree service line. CCWD will hot tap. 6. Install estimated 420' of 6" DR-18 PVC to the West along the shoulder of Raintree BLVD. 7. Install 6" 45 MJ fitting and estimated 35' of 6" DR-18 PVC toward the South and existing meter vault. 8. Install temporary blow-off for disinfection flushing and Bac-T sample. 9. Pressure test @ 150 PSI for 2 hours. (By CCWD) 10. Install 6" 45 MJ fitting and solid sleeve if needed to reconnect 6" service outside of existing vault. 11. Replace existing 12" BFV on 9th and Raintree BLVD if needed. 12. Abandon existing fire hydrant assembly, existing 6" service line for 600 Raintree and existing 4" for Orchard Park from the existing 12" water main with 2 solid sleeve and approximately 20' of 12" DR-18 PVC. 13. Backfill site, and restore surface to match existing adjacent conditions.
