The Project includes the following Work: Improvements to the wastewater treatment plant will replace aging equipment and provide more efficient means of treatment. Installation of a new automatic bar screening system, diffused aeration system, and UV disinfection system. Replacement of a wet well pump and a backup generator. Upgrades to the wastewater treatment plants electrical service, process piping, disinfection building, and miscellaneous building improvements. The Engineer's estimate for cost of construction is: $2,174,000.00 The Engineer's estimate for cost of construction of Additive Alternate 1 is $748,000.00 The Work will be substantially completed within 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 360 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,500.00 per day.
