The fencing system will be used to secure school grounds and must meet the following specifications: Fence Fabric & Materials o 615 linear feet of 6-foot-high black vinyl-coated chain-link fence fabric o Minimum 9-gauge core wire with black vinyl coating. o Mesh opening: 2-inch diamond pattern. o Posts & Hardware: o (81) 1-inch diameter black vinyl-coated line posts. o (6) transition/terminal posts with matching post caps. o (81) 1-inch post caps to fit line posts. o (24) fence clamps for bracing and attachments. o (14) tension bars for securing chain-link fabric to terminal/transition posts. o Concrete footings: All posts shall be set in concrete footings at a minimum depth of 24 inches (or deeper if required by soil/site conditions) with concrete cured and finished level to grade. Installation Requirements o Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for a complete installation. o Fence fabric shall be stretched taut and attached securely to line posts, tension bars, and clamps using appropriate fasteners. o All posts shall be plumb, aligned, and evenly spaced. o Fence line must be uniform in height and alignment across the full 615 linear feet. o All work shall meet or exceed ASTM standards for commercial fencing installation. o Contractor shall remove all packaging, excess materials, and construction debris from the site upon completion. o Installation must be coordinated with the school district to minimize disruption to school activities. Finish & Quality o All posts, fabric, and hardware must be black vinyl-coated or factory-finished to resist rust, corrosion, and weathering. o All installation must be performed to professional trade standards, ensuring safety, durability, and longevity of the fencing system. o Responses to questions will be issued by September 2, 2025 as an addendum (if needed).
