New construction of an industrial development in Waterloo, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a industrial development.

The project consists of furnishing the following supplies, equipment, and/or services. FARM LAB BUILDING HAWKEYE COMMUNITY COLLEGE WATERLOO, IA 50701 The bids are for a Single Prime Contract - Stipulated Sum for construction of a new 80' x 60' post-framed building, insulated and clad with corrugated metal wall and roof panels. There will be three (3) overhead doors and minimal interior build-out. The building will replace an existing farm maintenance building in the same location. Heating in the shop area is provided by radiant tube heaters. An oil/sand separator will be installed outside of building. Site work is limited to concrete approaches at overhead doors and finish grading around building. Project also includes new concrete slab and gravel base in existing 40' x 80' hoop structure north of new post-framed building. The Owner will review bids, recommendations and award contract at the Hawkeye Center Board Room, 1501 East Orange Road, Waterloo, during its Regular Trustee Board meeting at 6:00 p.m., on September 23, 2025.
