The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The 45,034 square foot, concrete framed, three-story building is being used as a residential facility. It was constructed in the 50's as an institutional, residential building and has undergone several renovations and additions. a. Remove existing vinyl composition floor tile and cove base in designated rooms and corridors b. Remove lay-in ceiling and suspension system throughout and replace with new c. Remove carpeting wainscotting on corridor walls d. Remove locksets on sleeping rooms and replace with keyed entry locksets e. Remove hardware on noted exit doors and replace with panic hardware f. Remove plumbing fixtures as shown g. Remove ACM floor tile glue residue and install new carpet squares h. Remove loose wainscotting glue residue and install carpet tile wainscotting i. Remove existing HVAC system and replace j. Replace electrical system as shown on drawings k. Add plumbing fixtures as shown on drawings l. Remove and replace fire alarm system Muscatatuck Building 5114 Maintenance and Repair. Proposals shall be submitted on the proper bid form and delivered via email to include the name and address of the bidder, all as described in the Instruction to Bidders, which accompanies the specification.A Bid Bond made payable to the Adjutant General's Office, State of Indiana, must be enclosed with the bid. Said bond shall be in the minimum amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum bid including all additive alternate bids. The contract for this work shall be awarded or rejected within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening bids. This project is dependent on government funding. Camp Atterbury reserves the right to reject all bids. Note: In accordance with I.C. 4-13-16.5-2, the following goals are established for this construction: MBE 7%, WBE 5% and IVBE 3%.
