Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Teaneck, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Roadway milling and resurfacing of Palisade Ave, Tryon Ave and Galway Pl in the Township of Teaneck, reconstruction of handicap ramps according to ADA standards, replacement of concrete vertical curb and sidewalk where required, drainage improvements and traffic striping. Principal items of work in the project include: . 8,750 SY HMA Milling, 3" or less . 1,325 Tons Hot Mixed Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course . 1,050 LF 9" X 18" Concrete Vertical Curb. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3. The work shall be completed within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. Bid date notes: Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Bid for Palisade Ave, West Tryon Ave and Galway Pl Improvement Project" All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.
