Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bowling Green, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

1)Communications Restrictions 1.1. Please note the following policy concerning communication between Consultants and WCPA during the announcement and selection process: 1.2. During the period between the advertisement and the announcement of the final consultant selection, communication with consultants (or their agents) shall be limited as follows: 1.3. Communications which are strictly prohibited: 1.3.1. Any discussions or marketing activities related to this specific project. 1.4. Allowable communications include: 1.4.1. Technical or scope of services questions specific to the project or RFP requirements. 2) Project Description The project will be separated into two parts: A) design for the extension of Nims Road to Bishop Road and B) a transportation improvement plan for Nims Road from SR 64 to Dunbridge Road. 2.1. Part A of the project will consist of the design of Nims Road Extension consisting of a new three lane road between Bishop and SR 25. The design will be in accordance with local standards and include a multi-use path. Connection to Patrick Drive will also be reviewed, and street lighting shall be included in the design. Right of Way shall be provided to permit expansion of utilities including water and sanitary. A single-lane roundabout will be designed at the new Nims Road and Bishop Road intersection. Bishop Road at SR 25 will be disconnected and a turn-around shall be provided. Coordination between the regional transportation planners including the City of Bowling Green, Wood County Engineer, Wood County Port Authority, TMACOG and ODOT will be required. 2.2. Part B of the project entails conducting a transportation improvement plan for Nims Road from SR 64 to Dunbridge Road. The study will include a review of the traffic patterns, access management planning, and potential for an I-75 interchange. The transportation improvement plan will also identify the improvements required to Nims Road to create an access route to I-75. A list of corridor priorities and associated costs will be included in the deliverables. This Agreement will be implemented in Parts appropriate to the PDP Phases. The initial price proposal and authorization will include the Part A and Part B. 6) Estimated Date of Authorization It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed by October 3, 2025 7) Completion Schedule 7.1. Part A: Nims Road Extension final plans completed 12/1/2027 7.2. Part B: The Transportation Improvement Plan 7/31/2027 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
