Renovation of a laboratory facility in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking industry input from qualified subcontractors for a potential Design/Build project involving Title II Design, Title III Design, and Construction Services to replace the Laboratory's existing process water evaporative cooling tower with a closed-loop air-cooled chiller system. The new system is intended to eliminate evaporation and make-up water use, reduce contamination risks, and improve overall reliability. The project will also evaluate water treatment needs to maintain proper chilled water chemistry and ensure optimum performance. Interested firms with relevant design/build experience are encouraged to respond with capability statements and preliminary insights. Contract Length : 24 months
