Outdoor Pool Rehabilitation Question Deadline Sep 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM Questions submitted in writing to Email jerrel.jones@collegeparkga.gov Project no- 23CP SWPL PURPOSE The City of College Park is accepting proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to provide construction service(s) to rehabilitate and replaster all outdoor swimming pools at two (2) locations. The intent of this Request for Proposals and resulting contract is to provide the City of College Park with information concerning the rehabilitation and replastering of all outdoor City swimming pools for locations listed below. Location #1: Conley Recreation Center | 3636 College St | College Park, GA | 30337 Location #2: Tracey Wyatt Recreation Center | 2300 Godby Rd | Atlanta, GA | 30337 The rehabilitation and replastering of the outdoor pool specifications shall be of the following types either "equal to "or "better than". Objectives o Remove and replace deteriorated plaster surfaces o Repair structural cracks and surface defects o Upgrade pool components as needed for code compliance o Improve water retention, circulation, and finish quality o Ensure all work meets Georgia Department of Public Health standards SCOPE of SERVICE A. Site Preparation o Drain pools and secure perimeter for safety o Remove loose or damaged plaster o Pressure wash and clean all surfaces o Inspect shell for structural damage B. Surface Repairs o Patch and repair cracks, voids, and delamination o Apply bonding agents as needed o Level uneven surfaces prior to plasteringC. Replastering o Install new plaster finish (white or colored quartz, as specified) o Apply in accordance with industry standards (e.g., NPC guidelines) o Cure and fill pool per manufacturer recommendations D. Component Upgrades (if applicable) o Replace or repair tiles, coping, and expansion joints o Inspect and upgrade drains, skimmers, and return fittings o Ensure ADA compliance for entry/exit points E. Final Inspection & Cleanup o Refill and balance pool water chemistry o Conduct final walkthrough with city staff o Provide warranty documentation and maintenance guidelines o Remove all debris and restore surrounding areas 4. Deliverables o Detailed work schedule and timeline o Material specifications and product data sheets o Final inspection report and warranty documents o Compliance certification (if applicable)
