We extend this bid to cover the furnishing of labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide grass cutting and landscape maintenance for a period of (24) months for the following JeffCAP Head Start Centers: Terrytown/Gretna Head Start- 2315 Park Place, Gretna, LA 70053 Jutland Head Start- 1821 Jutland Drive, Harvey, LA 70058 Lapalco Head Start- 2001 Lincolnshire Drive, Marrero, LA 70072 Jefferson Hwy Head Start- 11312 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123 No Pre-Bid Conference shall be required. Section 3.0- License/Qualifications & Permits: A Louisiana State Contractor's License is required in the following classifications: Specialty: Landscaping, Grading and Beautification In addition, the following licenses are also required: A Louisiana Ground Operator License with the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry A Louisiana Commercial Pesticide Applicator License from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry The above LA State Contractor's License will be required in accordance with LSA R.S. 37-2150 et. seq. and such license number will be shown on the outside of the bid envelope. Additionally, if submitting the bid electronically, then the license number must be entered in the appropriate field in the Electronic Procurement system. Failure to comply will cause the bid to be rejected. The successful bidder shall obtain any and all permits required by the Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement. The successful bidder shall be responsible for payment of permits, licenses, and certifications, etc., and costs of keeping all-current during this Contract period. Failure to provide your certificate of insurance within the ten (10) days of bid opening shall result in the Parish rejecting your bid as non-responsive and moving on to the next apparent lowest bidder. JeffCAP reserves the right to delete properties from this contact if needed. A thirty (30) day notice will be given prior to deletion of any work.
