The project site(s) is located within the City of Watertown, New York (refer to Schedule of Properties) and consists of abating and demolishing the existing structures on the sites. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five per centum (5%) of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the total amount of the accepted bid and in such form and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are approved by the City Council. Insurance carriers must have principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State. The City Council reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids.
