Site work for a water / sewer project in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project includes storm drain improvements, underground stormwater storage, green stormwater infrastructure with associated landscaping, water/sewer relocations, ADA improvements, and roadway reconstruction in the Mile Hi Neighborhood and Pueblo Alto Neighborhood. Following the public bid reading, bids will be considered by the City and an award of the Contract, if made, will be within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. Contract if awarded, will be awarded in accordance with the Gender Pay Equity Ordinance (5-5-31 COA). By submitting a bid, contractor agrees to abide by all provisions of both the Accountability in Government Ordinance (Section 2-10-1 COA) and the Inspector General Ordinance (2-17-1 COA). If work under this contract is funded with federal grants from any federal agency, the awarded funding will be subject to the respective program's rule, regulations, and policies. Project Construction Signs. 3.1.1 General: Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall provide materials for, shall install, and shall maintain for the duration of the construction Project, one Project construction sign for each travel direction on arterial or collector streets approaching the Project. These signs shall be installed subsequent to the award of the Contract but not less than seven (7) days prior to the expected start of the Construction Work. The sign screening(s) shall be placed on one side of 1/2" thick 4'x8' marine grade plywood. Each sign shall be mounted on a minimum of two 4"x4" posts, with the bottom of the sign four (4) feet above grade. The sign(s) shall be mounted level and at location(s) designated by the City Project Engineer. Project sign placement shall not impede safe sight distance. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid Proposal for the Work is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request Question Deadline 09/12/2025
