Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Elkview, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 09/23/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work to be bid upon is generally described as follows: Mobilization/demobilization. Modification of chlorine contact tanks. Miscellaneous concrete and stone backfill. Installation of UV disinfection equipment. Installation of shelter structure. Installation of portable davit cranes. Installation of removable gratings. Electrical upgrades to support the proposed UV system. Other miscellaneous work for a complete installation. Construction time limit for the contract is 240 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion for Base Bid work and 270 consecutive calendar days to final completion. The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $750.00 per day. Elk Valley Public Service District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
