The City of Ottawa is seeking to minimize tariff impacts associated to this or any related solicitation. This may include altering specifications to include products with increased Canadian content or non-tariffed alternatives. The City welcomes any questions or feedback from bidders which may assist the City in achieving the goal of reducing the negative impacts of tariffs on this solicitation. .1 Removal and Protection .1 Provide Access Equipment as Required to Clean and Coat All Exposed Structural Steel Within the Pool Area as Shown on the Project Drawings. .2 Temporarily Remove All Major Equipment Suspended From the Existing Truss Structure Including but Not Limited to: Lighting, Speaker Systems, Sound Baffles and Pool Features. Catalogue All Existing Equipment and Condition. Reinstall All Equipment Upon Final Completion of Cleaning and Coating of Structural Steel. Provide New Fasteners Including Screws, Threaded Rods, Hanger Clips, or Other, as Necessary to Reinstall All Equipment to Match Existing. .3 Provide Protection Against Dust, Debris, or Mechanical Damage for All Existing Pool Elements. This Includes but Not Limited to: Corrugated Steel Roof Pans, Hvac, Electrical, Mechanical, Pool, Waterslide, Interior Finishes, and Etcetera, Clean Existing Steel and Apply New Protective Coating System. .2 Cleaning and Coating Structural Steel .1 Clean and Coat All Exposed Structural Steel Within the Pool Area as Per the Project Documents.
