Reference Number 0000397139 The City of Fountain in Fountain, CO is issuing this Request For Proposals to establish for Electrical Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The City of Fountain seeks sources to perform and complete a variety of specialized electrical projects in support of the General Facilities and Construction (GFC), Inter-Governmental Service Agreement (IGSA) with Fort Carson Army Post. Firms must be capable of managing several small projects concurrently. The following firms shall be involved in services for a broad range of electrical disciplines and projects in support of the Fort Carson Army Garrison and the City of Fountain. Projects are anticipated to be issued through a task order type submission to the City of Fountain, to perform the related service on Fort Carson or the City of Fountain. Task orders could vary in size from $1,000 to $1,000,000 and will be awarded by the City of Fountain IGSA Manager and administered by the Strategic Partnerships Department. Work performed under this anticipated contract will be in the electrical specialty trade. The City of Fountain anticipates issuing task orders for these services on Fort Carson and the City. It is anticipated the contract relationship with the City of Fountain may span 10 years, or longer, in support of the existing IGSA between the City of Fountain and Fort Carson. Wherein the prime contractor must perform at least 50 percent services, excluding the cost of materials, with its own employees and employees of a similarly situated subcontractor.
