8/28/25 - solicitation is extended to allow time for vendors to take into account new El Dorado County Environmental Management Department requirements when pricing quotes. The county issued a letter to haulers August 25 stating no campground waste would be accepted at Union Mine WWTP. That letter was rescinded August 28 with new information. Vendors are advised to contact El Dorado County Environmental Management Department for information on the changes to the Union Mine WWTP acceptance criteria and procedures. Note: The Union Mine WWTP is not a required site for disposal under the proposed contract. Vendors may identify whatever legal and appropriate disposal sites they wish; however, it is anticipated that most vendors would plan to use Union Mine WWTP to some extent. This extension is made with the expectation that vendors will assess their operating plans and costs such that they quote prices that are realistic, fair, and competitive. Quotes already submitted may be revised up to the new closing date and time: Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 0900 Pacific Time. Please mark all updated quotes with "Revised" in the file name. . 8/27/25 - new attachments posted (127EAS25Q0045_Amend 2 SOI and Attachment 6 Schedule of Items v2). Response date extended by one day to Aug 28 2025 @1400 Pacific. 8/20/25 - new attachments posted (127EAS25Q0045_Amend 1 QA (must be signed) and Attachment 5 QandA for ENF Pumping) Base + 4 Option Years to pump toilet vaults and septic tanks across the Eldorado National Forest at campgrounds and other recreation use sites.
