General: Scope of work for West Fork Lake Basement Waterproofing System and installation. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment necessary to do this job. Contractor will remove all materials, trash, and debris from basement construction job. 1. Remove all water and water damaged materials and debris. Clean, sanitizing, and deodorize basement. 2. Install Basement Gutter that includes; set up dust suppression and control systems, lay down floor protection from entry and exit points to area of excavation work, break up the floor and excavate and remove perimeter concrete flooring from vertical wall removing concrete as needed, excavate a trench along the perimeter wall and drilling weep holes above the drainage trench when block exists as necessary. Fill trench with proper drainage stone, installation of non-clogging waterproofing drainage system. Install Sump basin, sump pumps, all necessary pvc drainage pipes both interior and exterior for proper drainage and installing battery backup system and charging unit. Install clean drainage stone over non-clogging waterproofing drainage system and mix and lay concrete into trench over pipe and stone. Hand float and finish the concrete and hook up and test the sump pump and drainage system. Install proper sized dehumidifier to be incorporated with sump pump drainage system. 3. Install waterproofing material on the walls (see drawing) to prevent water vapor and moisture intrusion as well as direct wall leakage to the waterproofing system. 4. Remove all non-load bearing walls, including drywall and framework. Remove existing sink and toilet and cap existing plumbing.
