PROJECT SUMMARY PROJECT PHASES The County intends to install a stormwater baffle box in the northern section of the Tampa Bay Watershed on Lake Saxon at Lake Padgett Estates to reduce nitrogen loading, support water quality improvement, and promote seagrass restoration. The County will also use information from this project to evaluate which water quality improvement techniques may be best suited for each unique location within the County. An assessment to the Lake Padgett Estates project site was conducted and the resulting recommendation is to install a Type II stormwater baffle box with engineered media capabilities to reduce gross trash and nutrient loads from entering Lake Saxon.
