The City of Durham Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the project described above. This project consists of the installation of HUD Funded Pedestrian Crossing Improvements within the City of Durham, NC. The signal infrastructure will consist of metal strain poles and span wire. This project shall conform to the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, January 2024 and any addendum. The completion date is 270 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Contractor shall furnish materials and equipment needed to install the signal, including procuring soil tests and furnishing the metal poles. Liquidated damages for this project are $600.00 per calendar day for failure to complete this project by the completion date.
