Installation of a New Traffic Signal D-0829, Stadium Drive at Durham School of the Arts Entrance in Durham, NC This project consists of the installation of a New Traffic Signal (Stadium Drive at Durham School of the Arts Entrance) within the City of Durham, NC. The signal infrastructure will consist of metal strain poles and span wire. This project shall conform to the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, January 2024 and any addendum. The completion date is 270 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Contractor shall furnish materials and equipment needed to install the signal, including procuring soil tests and furnishing the metal poles. Liquidated damages for this project are $600.00 per calendar day for failure to complete this project by the completion date. The City of Durham Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color or national origin.
