The work generally consists of Clear well No. 4, High Service Service Pumps and Site Piping Improvements (the "Project"). All questions, clarifications and requests regarding the project must be received in writing via email to Rob Hesley at rob@cbdeng.com no later than 12:00 p.m., September 1, 2025. Any requests received after said time and date will not be addressed. A Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to Travis County M.U.D. No. 12 in an amount not less than 5%of the total bid must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will within 10 days of award enter into a Contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. The Bidder's surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a Contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award. The Pre-Qualification Statement included in the proposal packet as required by Travis County M.U.D. No. 12 shall be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the proposal. Any proposal lacking the Pre-Qualification Statement will not be considered. No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the Contract price and is to remain in force for a period of one year from the date of the letter of final acceptance from TC MUD 12, Lakeway M.U.D. and the City of Lakeway.
