A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Red Oak Independent School District is seeking qualified contractors to provide professional flooring renovation services at Red Oak High School as part of the 2025 Bond Program. This project involves the comprehensive replacement of existing carpet and VCT (vinyl composition tile) flooring with new luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring throughout the high school facility. The project encompasses three floors of Red Oak High School with installation of LVT flooring in areas up to 340,000 square feet total space. The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the flooring renovation including but not limited to: removal and proper disposal of existing flooring materials, surface preparation, moisture testing, installation of new LVT flooring materials, transition strips, cove base, and any necessary subfloor repairs or leveling. The contractor shall coordinate with Red Oak Independent School District's designated project manager for scheduling and phasing of the work to ensure completion within the established timeframe. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the flooring renovation. All materials must meet or exceed industry standards for educational environments, including appropriate wear layers, slip resistance, and durability specifications suitable for high-traffic school settings. The contractor shall provide a detailed project schedule, quality control plan, and warranty information as part of their proposal. The selected contractor will be expected to maintain regular communication with Red Oak Independent School District representatives throughout the duration of the project.
