The City of Orlando's Procurement and Contracts Division is soliciting Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers, to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision, necessary for grass mowing, litter removal, pesticide/ herbicide application, tree pruning, irrigation, and landscape maintenance, for various storm water areas, all within the City limits of the City of Orlando. As set forth in this RFP, Proposals shall conform to the scope of services and technical requirements as set forth herein. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, pay for all tools, supplies and manpower, remove litter and debris, and pay related disposal fees to complete the work activities specified in this section. The Contractor shall be responsible for mowing, string trimming, edging, litter removal, landscape maintenance, tree pruning, mulching, pesticide and herbicide spraying and fence line trimming. The Contractor shall also be responsible for providing data and documentation for services preformed. Insurance and/or Performance Bond coverage required by the Contract or terms and conditions as set forth in this Request for Proposals, if any, must be in force throughout the term of the Contract (Contract Term). Should a Contractor fail to provide acceptable evidence of current insurance and/or a Performance Bond within seven (7) days prior to the expiration date of an insurance policy or bond at any time during the Contract term, the City shall have the absolute right to terminate the Contract without any further obligation to the Contractor. The Contractor shall be liable for the entire additional cost of procuring performance and the cost of performing the incomplete portion of the Contract at the time of termination. It is highly recommended that proposers confer with their respective insurance carriers or brokers to determine, in advance of their proposal submission, the availability and cost of the required insurance, related endorsements, and bonds. It is the intent of the City is to award a Contract for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the City. The Contract may, by mutual assent of the parties, be extended for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of sixty (60) months. Question Submission Deadline:September 25, 2025, 5:00pm The City, at its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all, or parts of any and all proposals, to re-advertise this solicitation, postpone or cancel, at any time, this solicitation process, or to waive minor irregularities and informalities in this RFP or in the proposals received as a result of this RFP. The City does not guarantee the award of any Contract as a result of this solicitation process.
