The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, construction of the following: Expansion of existing membrane system, including: installation of five (5) new racks, three (3) new strainers, crossflow pumps, crossflow tank, piping modifications, replacement of modules on five (5) existing racks, modifications to existing valve racks, replacement of existing backwash pumps, and replacement of existing master PLC. Replacement of one (1) existing vertical turbine pump at the Lower Pressure Plane HSPS with a 500 HP vertical turbine pump. Addition of one (1) 500 HP vertical turbine pump at the Upper Pressure Plane HSPS. Construction of a 36-inch Lower Pressure Plane HSPS parallel pipeline. Construction of a 48-inch filtered water pipeline and new membrane filtrate inlet to Clearwell No. 1. Construction of a 12-inch plant recycle pipeline. Recycle Pump Station improvements, including installation of two (2) new submersible centrifugal pumps and relocation of an existing pump, construction of a new recycle header, and piping modifications. Installation of plate settlers and hoseless sludge collector in Washwater Recovery Basin No. 2 and construction of new 12-inch decant pipe to the Recycle Pump Station. Relocation of membrane system pressure reducing valve from the Membrane Building to the PRV Vault. Construction of a membrane raw water Chemical Injection-Rapid Mix Vault, rapid mix and chemical injection modifications, and piping modifications in the existing PRV Vault. Chemical storage improvements, including replacement of one (1) caustic bulk storage tank, one (1) polyaluminum chloride bulk storage tank, one (1) liquid ammonium sulfate bulk storage tank, and (1) sodium chlorite bulk storage tank. This item also includes replacement of associated piping for each tank inside respective containment areas and extension of concrete containment walls per the drawings. Replacement of seven (7) chemical feed pumps and addition of one (1) new chemical feed pump. Expansion of the sodium hypochlorite on-site generation system, including one (1) new sodium hypochlorite generator and associated ancillary equipment. Addition of hydraulic rapid mix system and coagulant injection to backwash waste pipeline in membrane building basement. Electrical distribution system improvements, including: one (1) automatic transfer switch and installation of a pre-purchased generator. Miscellaneous yard piping, instrumentation, and electrical. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
