for the construction of the Village of Elba Wastewater Treatment Facility, Phase 2 - Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements and Phase 3 - Collection System Upgrades This project consists of two (2) separate contracts: Phase 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements involves upgrading aeration equipment including new underground air piping, floating aerators, diffusers and new blowers; new influent metering structure, piping and flume; lagoon dredging and sludge disposal; miscellaneous site and building improvements; electrical improvements including the installation of backup generators at two sanitary lift stations. Phase 3 Collection System Upgrades involves the replacement of approximately 900 linear feet of sanitary sewer along a portion of Maltby Road with new 8-inch PVC pipe and manholes, cure-in-place lining, manhole rehabilitation, and spot repairs.
