Renovation of a medical facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
In general, the work consists of: the replacement of the existing (Jeron) Intercom System in the Gatehouse and Buildings A, B & C at the Wisconsin Resource Center (WRC) with a new (Tech Works) modular communication internet protocol Intercom System. The replacement includes Intercom Stations, wiring Station Select Panels, Router, System Controller and IP Server. The new Intercom System shall be interfaced into the existing (Wonderware) PLC Door Control System with updated graphics and programming to facilitate an integrated control and intercom system. The replacement Intercom System shall match the type (Tech Works) and functions of the existing intercom system in the North Building, the Visitors Center and in the Women's Center Building. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
