Renovation of an educational facility in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,500-square-foot educational facility.

A. The Work under the Contract consists of 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to Renovation approx 1,500 GSF office area on 4th flr. Construction new interior wall to separate space, modify HVAC & Lighting, new power & data services, access control's. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and paying for a construction administration software application to be used by all participants on the Project at no cost. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Project consists of but not limited to: Renovation approx 1,500 GSF office area on 4th flr. General/Sub bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell.
