Bids will be per ton for materials and hauling to (2) two sites in Clark County Site 1 - 2,500 ton delivered to corner of 429th Ave. and 193rd St. Site 2 - 2,500 ton delivered 6.5 miles south of Clark Bid will be awarded based on total bid price of material and delivery to both sites. All material bid shall meet specification as set forth in the "South Dakota Standard Specifications for Road and Bridges 2015 Edition" Section 881.2 (Type 1B). All material shall be 7/16 crushed quartzite. Delivery of the chips will be coordinated with the Clark County Highway Superintendent and completed by December 23, 2025. All sealed bids must comply with South Dakota SenateBill189 and proper certification must be submitted to Clark County prior to delivery. Failure to do so or falsifying certification will constitute grounds for the County to reject the quote submitted by the bidder on this project and terminate any contract awarded based on the quote. Certification form provided must be submitted for bids to be considered. All bid envelopes shall be clearly marked. By virtue of statutory authority preference may be given to materials produced, or supplies found or produced and manufactured within the State of South Dakota. Where applicable, all materials and supplies shall meet specifications set forth in the "Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges" established by the S.D. Department of Transportation. The Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and or all bids. It is the policy of Clark County not to discriminate against the handicapped in employment or the provision of service.
