Site work for a water / sewer project in Booneville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work is generally to include furnishing and installing 30 feet of 12 inch diameter ductile iron pipe, 3 concrete pipe support piers, 2 stainless steel bollards for intake screen protection, new intake screen, intake screen air backflush system and replacement of existing shear gate with new plug valve, extension stem and handwheel operator. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Bidder awarded the contract shall complete this project within 120calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per calendar day. Questions regarding this project must be received by Nesbitt Engineering, Inc. (mwilmoth@neiky.com) in writing no later than 5:00 pm on 09/17/2025. Doc note: Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations: the City of Booneville, 46 Mulberry Str et, Booneville, KY 41314 on Monday through Friday between the hoursof 9 am - 4 pm; and at the office of the Engineer, Nesbitt Engineering, Inc., 227 N. Upper St., Lexington, KY 40507, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am- 4 pm. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
