The proposed work includes the installation of chip seal surface over existing chip sealed roads located in District 3 in Coal County, Oklahoma Coal County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities therein, to determine the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond. Coal County District 3 will provide approximately 180 tons/mile of 5/8" chips at the current bid amount. Coal County District 3 will provide approximately 5700 gallons/mile of CRS-2 road oil at the current bid amount. Coal County will provide a dump truck for the project. Contractor will provide an oil distribution truck, capable of spraying 24 feet wide. Contractor will provide a chip spreader, capable of spreading 24 feet wide. Contractor will provide a pneumatic tire roller. The contractor will chipseal full width 7(+/-) single lift, in single pass. Project is approximately seven (7) miles in length, and road width is approximately 18 feet wide. The proposed work includes placing a chip seal surface on existing chip sealed roads located in District 3 in Coal County, Oklahoma and should be labeled as follows: CHIP SEAL PROJECT in District 3 Bid #2025-38 Material and dump truck will be provided by the county. Contractor will provide oil distributor truck, chip spreader and pneumatic tire roller and workmanship to apply the materials as outlined in the bid specifications.
