Question Deadline 09/11/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Contractor Questions Submitted via Email to cward@caryillinois.com, 09/15/2025 Vendor Questions Answered via Addendum on website/Euna OpenBids by 3:00 PM This Request for Sealed Bids (RFB) is for the purpose of contracting with a qualified firm to Provide all labor, equipment, appurtenances, and materials necessary for the removal and replacement of one (1) well pump and one (1) motor, including the submersible cable and check valve. This work may include securing permits; site restoration; traffic control; testing and all other work necessary for a complete and functional pump and motor installation meeting IEPA and Village standards as shown, specified, or required. The scope of work includesthe removal and replacement of the pump and motor equipment at one of the Village's well facilities located at 189 River Drive, Cary, IL 60013. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to remove the existing overhead doors or roof hatches and equipment, dispose of old equipment, and furnish and install the new equipment. Contractorshall have all material and equipment onsite prior to work commencing. Contractor has a maximum of (45) days from notice to proceed to start work. BASE BID o Remove existing pump and motor. o Install new pump and motor. o Replace column pipe. o Install new column pipe check valves. o Install new air lines. o Disinfect and televise the well. o Inspect and megger the lines from the contractor to the well head. o Replace pump in-kind or equivalent equal to be approved by the Village. Village shall have final approval of pump and motor. o Contractorshall remain off private property and operate within a normal work week, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. o Contractorshall have pump and motor tested prior to installation by the manufacturer certified flow tests. Final report shall be given to the Village before authorization to install is provided. o Remove the existing pump and motor and install new equipment. o As many mobilizations as necessary, to be bid as one lump sum cost and disbursed over the course of work.
