The Town of LaSalle is seeking submissions for the supply of all labour, supervision, plant and materials necessary to carry out the work. The work to be carried out under this Contract (Parts A & B) shall include the furnishing of all labour, supervision, plant and materials necessary to carry out the following: PART A - HOWARD AVENUE DRAIN a) Re-grading and cleaning of open drain channel on west side of Howard Avenue. b) Replacement of four (4) existing utility access culverts. c) Flushing and cleaning of three (3) existing concrete pipe drain enclosure culverts. d) Miscellaneous works including seeding, culvert end repairs, erosion protection work and restoration. e) All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may otherwise be directed by the Engineer. PART B - BURKE DRAIN a) New open drain channel construction on east side of Howard Avenue. b) New culvert installations (3) across South Talbot Road, Howard Avenue and former Outer Drive. c) Cleaning and widening of open drain channel on east side of former Outer Drive. d) Replacement of one (1) existing utility access culvert and extension of one (1) existing road culvert. e) Flushing and cleaning of one (1) existing corrugated steel pipe culvert. f) In-filling road swales and re-grading. g) Lowering of existing watermain on south side of South Talbot Road. h) Miscellaneous works including seeding, erosion protection work and restoration. i) All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may otherwise be directed by the Engineer for the REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE HOWARD AVENUE DRAIN & BURKE DRAIN TOWN OF LASALLE The above description is general only and must not be considered as limiting the scope of work.
